Wild Tinderbox are a hard rock trio from Austin, Texas. Their sound is an eclectic mix of 70's rock, 90's grunge, heavy metal, punk, funk, stoner and surf rock with modern day overtones. The band released their self-titled EP in the summer of 2016, and debut album, "Daughters Of Lightning" in April of 2018. Both recordings produced and engineered by Mark Schroth (The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Commodus) at Stinson Studios in Austin. Mixing and mastering handled by Alex Spradling in DeBary, Florida.
In the fall of 2019, the band recorded their second album, "Hardboiled Fire," with producer Jason Richard (Roky Erickson, Microscopic Telescope) at Clock Right Studio in Austin, with mixing and mastering handled by Alex Spradling once more, and released the album in April of 2020. The same team assembled for an updated version of their song "Back For The Attack" and was released on July 23rd, 2021. The band then released their third and final album "Heretics And Heatseekers," on July 29th, 2022, shortly before entering a long, and indefinite hiatus.
