Will Ginno is a singer- songwriter and musician from the deep- dark depths of Suffolk, England. Whilst not defined by one genre, Will's songwriting blends elements of rock, folk, pop and Americana.
With soulful, straight from the heart vocals, engaging stagecraft and a sucker for a (catchy) melody, Will takes cues from musical heroes Neil Young, Elliott Smith, The Kinks, Nick Drake, Rufus Wainwright and The Velvet Underground.
A romantic at heart, Will is not one to shy away from grittier subject matter, drawing upon his personal experiences and channelling his emotions into music. His songs touch upon themes of love, loss, joy, despair and escapism.
With the exquisite saxophone playing of his father Paul Ginno, Will plays live in East Anglia, the UK and beyond.
Will Ginno's debut EP 'Alright/ Just Fine' was released in the first half of 2023, produced by Matt Haines of Foxtrot Oskar fame and described as:
"An unabashed and instinctive dive into feel good writing, combining a message of hope with a singalong chorus.
...this clearly sets a benchmark for future work to come; contrasting feels, emotional grit and great use of imagery. Go seek, people!"
