Will Pope

Will Pope is a folk singer-songwriter from Rotherham, UK, known for his intricate fingerstyle guitar and evocative vocals. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of music, including folk artists like Nick Drake, The Tallest Man on Earth and Bon Iver and electronic influences like Four Tet, Burial, and Thom Yorke, his sound blends soulful melodies with darker atmospheric elements. His debut release, "Stormy Seas," received acclaim and thousands of streams by the likes of Alexrainbird Music and Mahogany, while his latest single, "Rooftops," showcases his vocal and storytelling talents marking his third release this year with the indie label Revolver Records. Will has organised nationwide tours and has performed at notable venues like St Pancras Old Church with Alex Francis and Union Chapel alongside Paula Cole.

His debut release “Burying Giants” of which "Stormy Seas" is part is the culmination of years of hard work, shaped by the Beijing music scene (Axis Neptune / Su Zixu + The Paramecia / Clustercuss) and artists and musicians Pope has collaborated with along the way.
