Will Sea is more than just a cheeky alias for the veteran of Vancouver’s DJ scene; in the last two years alone Will Sea's music has garnered the support of A-list DJs like: Ferry Corsten, R3HAB, Fatum, Claude Von Stroke, Anna Lunoe, Kryder, and even a spin on Above & Beyond Group Therapy thanks to Co-Fi (Anjunabeats). With releases on labels like Ørjan Nilsen's In My Opinion (Armada), Karsten Sollors’ Sollors Systems, and the prolific Elliptical Sun Music Will Sea is gaining recognition across the electronic music scene. Though it doesn’t start there for Will Sea’s life as a DJ, which began as a youth in Vancouver’s nightclub scene during the turn of the century at now defunct clubs like Sonar, Shine and Ginger 62 alongside touring acts such as Peanut Butter Wolf, Greyboy, Mr. V, Grandtheft, and Skratch Bastid. Will Sea’s DJ style is always genre bending, house party vibes, with an emphasis on reading the room and keeping the the good vibes high.
