Will Wood and the Tapeworms was a project created by alt-comic and singer-songwriter Will Wood, starting with the album "Everything is a Lot" in 2015 and the recording of the followup "SELF-iSH" mere months later, and continued until 2020. WWATT was known underground for their high-energy rock shows. The lineup varied significantly between albums and featured a wide cast of live members, but their concerts mostly featured Mike Bottiglieri on guitar, Mario Conte on drums, Matt Berger on saxophone, and Vater Boris on bass, with Will Wood fronting on keyboard. Wood has always mostly toured solo, but began releasing material under a solo moniker in 2020, with "The Normal Album" in 2020. The Tapeworms never officially disbanded; much of the lineup on the live album and concert film "The Real Will Wood" have continued to work alongside Wood. Their latest work together can be heard on "In case I make it," which you can stream on the Will Wood profile.
Will Wood and the Tapeworms is touring in 2025-2026 to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the WWATT albums.
