<a href="spotify:artist:3FLOIgY7W1j1sECo9YEd75" data-name="William Poyer">William Poyer</a> is a singer/songwriter whose sound conjures up the modern world with a nod to the days of the Mariachi and the Gold Rush of the Wild West. Inspired by the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6DoH7ywD5BcQvjloe9OcIj" data-name="Ray LaMontagne">Ray LaMontagne</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1M3BVQ36cqPQix8lQNCh4K" data-name="Shovels &amp; Rope">Shovels &amp; Rope</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3Q8wgwyVVv0z4UEh1HB0KY" data-name="Jason Isbell">Jason Isbell</a>, William&#39;s songs have been described as a blend of real-life storytelling with an intimate folk sensibility, driven by strong rhythms and melodic hooks.

Having left his native Wales in 2013 he embarked on a journey of discovery, looking to hone a sound unique to him. Three years of living in Mexico helped him find the sound he was searching for and during this period he developed the stunning collection of songs that formed the majority of his debut album Born Lucky released in 2016.

He has played all around the U.K including support slots for <a href="spotify:artist:2HcZuUtnktqMHm4H1R9gAR" data-name="Great Lake Swimmers">Great Lake Swimmers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7z2avKuuiMAT4XZJFv8Rvh" data-name="Tom Walker">Tom Walker</a> and fellow Spiritual Bar pals <a href="spotify:artist:1LnhhjMNydIGawXsnfNhCf" data-name="Ferris &amp; Sylvester">Ferris &amp; Sylvester</a> on their headline U.K. tour.

His wildly anticipated first single in 3 years <a href="spotify:album:5sb7GISTyimk2POvaUF3br" data-name="Weight in Gold">Weight in Gold</a> arrived in April 2019 courtesy of Camden&#39;s Spiritual Records.

Further singles <a href="spotify:album:0HlCUrAWvy8EQ4CXW1bM5Y" data-name="On Our Way">On Our Way</a> and <a href="spotify:album:2vNJdrysLihkxwZejOYCla" data-name="Easy">Easy</a> came out in 2019 with studio recordings of <a href="spotify:album:5OIndCVAHao89clSAjWfxq" data-name="Sign It from Me">Sign It from Me</a> and <a href="spotify:album:1LbYWgM0q0xoNFlB63m3ur" data-name="Round the Bend">Round the Bend</a> with his band The Saddle Rats out in 2020.

2022 has brought new recordings produced by <a href="spotify:artist:1LnhhjMNydIGawXsnfNhCf" data-name="Ferris &amp; Sylvester">Ferris &amp; Sylvester</a> with the E.P. <a href="spotify:album:60EOHMI8dpxkX0455IRl9k" data-name="Forgiven">Forgiven</a> released in March on Spiritual Records.
