After his grandfathers untimely passing, William picked up the guitar when he was 13 and begun to write songs to help deal with the pain. What started off as way to cope quickly turned into a passion and calling from that point on. Even though William initially made his career on the football field for the Detroit Lions, he couldn’t escape the melodies playing in his head.
After playing professional football ended, William set out to be a socially conscious musician and entrepreneur. Having spent many years playing his songs to the forgotten people in trash dumps and on street corners, William brings the raw energy of hope to each song he writes. He knows that music can heal and music can bring people together; Music makes strangers into friends.
Eclectic in his musical tastes it is hard to pen him down to 1 genre the spectrum is wide but in every song there is consistent soul and passion.
