As a Songwriter & Pianist, Willow started composing in 2022 with a current bank of approximately 450 songs. Lyrics, her love language, though at times ambiguous, guide the keen listener to an epiphany. Her cadence, along with unique style, seamlessly blends sultry ballads with soulful hints of country blues and nuances of jazz. Ballads will showcase the simple sophistication of a piano backdrop as well as explore the tension that arises from extended and altered chord textures. Newer music incorporates and works in line with a goal to showcase a single instrument, such as a guitar. Now and then, Willow includes percussive elements as she ventures into R&B. Her a vision is to insightfully marry genres.
As someone who's long felt like an outsider and now coming into her own, she draws heavily from her intuition, observation and unique life experiences; she vows to remain on this path as an outlier, discovering all of her chapters as a distinct and underground indie artist.
