Who is Willy Rodriguez?
Willy Rodriguez started his professional singing career at age 18. In 1999 he was a front man in a youth band in his homeland Curacao called "Meo Mao". The band was very successful at that time and Willy Rodriguez was enjoying the pleasure of the fame to the fullest.
Willy came to Holland in the year 2002 and joined the band "Champagne" shortly after his arrival. In that year Willy felt like something was missing in his life, a void that all the fame he has had could not fill. On December 26 of 2002 Willy got a special personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ that has changed his whole life and since that day he experienced a strong desire to serve Jesus with his whole life.

In 2004 Willy Rodriguez released his first Gospel album entitled “Mi ta entrega” which means “I surrender”. This album was very successful and was played on many mainstream radios in The Dutch Caribbean. His music reaches a wide audience that not only listens to gospel music.
After this Willy Rodriguez released the following albums;
2007 “Konfia den Señor” which means “Trust in the Lord”
2013 “Pa bo tambe” which means “For you too”
2017 “Ban Galilea” wich means “Let us go to Galilee”
2018 “Dios te bendiga” which means “God bless you”
Willy Rodriguez stand out amongst other artist, earning him “male Gospel vocal of the year” titles in 2005, 2006, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 by the media of The Dutch Caribbean.
