A discussion who actually was the greatest guitarist player of all time planted the seed for what was to become Windom End. This was a discussion back in 2007 by Pierre Stam and Tomas Nystöm. They found they should be the best friends through the answer: "Steve Rothery", and the next days the duo started creating material.
Later Mikael Arvidsson (voices, guitars) joined the duo and over the years several drummers have joined and left the band, and finally the former Moon Safari member Tobias Lundgren joined as drummer.
