Hi! I’m Winnie, an artist from Aotearoa New Zealand who loves writing and recording my own songs. In 2024 I entered my song One Sided Love Getaway into the Play It Strange Peace Song Competition and got second place, which meant I could professionally record and release it which is an absolute dream come true. I’m currently working on more songs towards my first album!
I’m inspired by Aotearoa artists like Bic Runga, Tiny Ruins, Don McGlashan, and Reb Fountain, and by the emotion and honesty in Billie Eilish’s writing. I try to bring that same depth and feeling into every song I create.
