Winterland

German rockband Winterland was founded in Kaiserslautern by guitarist Markus Pfeffer (ex-Scarlett / -Wet Desert) in 1996. During the following years, Winterland released several CDs („Blind“ 1998, „The truth“ 2000 and „perSonality“ 2002), which especially got praised by critics in foreign countries.

Winterland were featured on various sampler-CDs (e.g. DURP2 and the beneficial sampler „Adored“ for cancer research in Canada), hit the Top 10 of the world‘s most visited mp3-website (www.mp3.com) several times and received radio airplay in countries such as Luxembourg, Greece, Spain, Slovenia, the Netherlands, France and Lithuania.

After releasing the album „Evening star“ in 2008, Winterland started to write lyrics in their native German language and released the albums "Alles geht" (2010), "Ein Leben lang" (2014) and "Angekommen" (2017).

In 2025, Winterland return to their roots with the album "Life's What You Make It" feat. Stephan Hugo on vocals and Bernd Schreiber on Bass.
