Juqan Brown, known professionally as WishGxd, was raised in Toronto, Ontario on July 7th, 2003 and grew up in a culturally diverse environment. He began expressing himself through music as a way to cope with emotional struggles including depression and isolation. Inspired by artists such as Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, Tupac, Azizi Gibson and The Weeknd, he started writing music in his teens while in highschool, and uploaded his early work to SoundCloud in June of 2018 and has since amassed a growing cult-like fanbase.
