Wissy

WISSY is a Sudanese rapper, artist, and beat producer born in 2001. He discovered rap in 2009 and began creating his own music in 2015, taking it seriously by 2019. His style is defined by the use of Sudanese dialect and rhythms influenced by Sudanese culture, giving his sound a unique and authentic identity.
In 2018, WISSY started sharing his songs on Instagram, building an early audience. A year later, he transitioned to YouTube, facing a tough beginning until he dropped his first serious track "Sare7" in July 2020, marking a turning point in his career.
He followed up with his debut EP "Dominos", featuring three tracks: Rugag, Neptune, and Phopia, in collaboration with VETO and RIXIE. This project highlighted his evolving sound and ability to bring others into his creative vision.
WISSY`s momentum continued as he teamed up with OBIE for several singles. Their chemistry led to the release of a joint EP titled "Supernova", which was a major success and expanded WISSY’s reach in the scene.
Since then, he has continued to work seriously, steadily building his name as one of the most promising voices in Sudanese hip-hop—known not just for his music, but for staying true to his roots and pushing the culture forward.
