Witness is a Rotterdam-based duo formed by vocalist Ramón (known from MANOS) and producer Pierre (known from The Policy). These two friends translate their love for 80’s music into a modern age. Artists such as Talking Heads, Talk Talk, Tears For Fears, Depeche Mode, and many others gave inspiration for the identity of their project. But combining it with more modern inspirations such as Air, Björk and The War On Drugs takes their music to an authentic sound that foundates Witness.
Creating a hybrid between the use of the old and the new ways, the listener experiences the music as a witness of the duo's sound and vision. Between everyday subjects, reflecting and learning from the past, and embracing the future, everyone becomes a part of the soundtrack of this duo’s Journey.
