Formed in early 2021, Wonderland Drive are a Sydney based band that includes the musical talents of Darren Woods (guitars/bass/keys) James McNiff (drums) , Steve Taylor (vocals/guitars) and Paul Talbot on bass. This 4 piece is defined as a cocktail of riff driven guitars, thumping drum beats, fat bass grooves and infectious, catchy vocal melodies. A creative collision of individuals focused on thoughtfully written and technically engaging songs, continuously trying to find new modern twists on playing their instruments while at the same time trying to cross stylistic boundaries, certain to produce a highly regarded live show. Wonderland Drive emerged from the studio, where they’ve recorded a number of hooky high energy songs with acclaimed producer Forrester Savell (Birds Of Tokyo) and Luke Palmer (Dead Letter Circus) This combination has resulted in the makings of world-class sound, and a musical collage of well crafted compositions that have produced a unique brand of alternative pop rock.
