"Wooden Empire" is a Luxembourgish indie-folk band, consisting of 4 members: Fränz Dahm, Marc Dahm, Tim Knaff and Misch Streff.
The formation of the band was rather a fluid process and there is no exact start. It started with Fränz writing songs and Marc motivating him to make more of them. That's how Tim and Misch joined as well.
About the project "Ghosts"
The project "Ghosts" often deals with real stories from Fränz's life, or stories in the sense of "what if". This is how the name "Wooden Empire" came about, because at some point it became clear that the songs are connected to each other and the whole thing looks like the structure of a tree.
All the songs have already been released as a picture, but only some of them can be found here. So there will be more to come.
