Work In Progress is a young, high-energy band based in West Sussex, UK, consisting of schoolfriends Joel, Casper, Ethan and Thomas.
The band was formed in 2023 by Joel (vocals, guitar) and Casper (drums), supported on bass by Dave O'Connell, mastermind of the Shoreham Allstars young bands collective.
After playing live for about a year, they were joined by bassist Ethan, leaving Dave to oversee rehearsals, performances and guide the band's musical development and strategy.
Early in 2025 the band lineup was completed with the arrival of Thomas on lead guitar.
In June 2025 the band recorded their first single "Shout" at Salvation Studios in Hove, East Sussex, UK, and topped it off with a headlining appearance at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing.
