WPL's (aka Giulio Ascoli) musical roots lie in instrumental music mostly Metal, nu-metal, CrossOver and Punk as a drummer for over 10 years before moving permanently to electronic music in 2000 and after two years of experimentation between Electronic and HipHop lands in 2002 to DnB both as a producer then as a DJ.

Since 2007 has released his music for worldwide labels like: Trust In Music, Big Riddim Recordings, Mindocracy, Othercide Records, SubCulture, Modulate Recordings, Triamer Records together with well known international artists.

In 2011, USA DnB Pioneer and hero Dave Minner aka AK1200 expanded Big Riddim Recordings and welcomed partner Giulio as co-owner and Label partner. Together they remodeled the company, and have created a very aggressive campaign for the global sustainance of Hard Drum and Bass music.

In 2012 it opens the way into the international Dj-ing scene with his first European tour performing in: Germany, Finland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

From 2012 till nowadays WPL's tours took him performing all around Europe touching: Cologne, Hamburg, Bremen, Rostock, Bochum, Arnheim, Mochengladbach, Helsinki, Lahti, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Liege, Sofia, Porto, Bratislava, Budapest, and many more.

In 2015 and 2017 WPL's BigRiddim Rec. hosted a stage at world's biggest DnB Festival: Let It Roll.

Summer 2017 see also WPL performing for the very first time in USA alongside the legend Dj Rap in Washington DC for 3D Promotion crew.
