Wrathful was initially formed in 2012 as a black metal project. As time passed, and because of different line-up changes, the band decided to adopt an old school death metal style. In 2020, after three years of hitting the stages all around Venezuela, Wrathful releases its first LP, Open Chest. Through this work, the music of the band has been exposed to a more international audience, especially after signing for Darzamadicus Records. With the departure to Spain of Julio Meneses, who was in charge of the bass during the recording of the LP, nowadays Wrathful's performing line-up is the following: Jesús Medina (guitars) Gabriel López (guitars and backing vocals) Esteban Medina (drums) José Alzuru (bass and lead vocals)
