Starting in 2012, Devon McClain, known as WRWLF, began producing under the alias Rage Inc. Starting with Electro and Progressive house, he started making a name for himself in the SoundCloud community. After a couple years he knew he wasn't producing what he truly felt in his heart. After an extended hiatus where he went back to his roots and to hone his craft, he began to make atmospheric and emotional music heavily inspired by electronic music throughout the 60's, 70's, and 80's. In 2018 he released his debut track "Broken" under his new alias WRWLF, showing off his new sound that he had honed during his previous hiatus. His 2nd single, titled "Lost in Thought" was released in March 2019, showing off his retro style of sound. WRWLF now considers his music a part of the recent and ever-growing music trends of Synthwave, Retrowave, and Vaporwave.
