WTRGRL is the evolution of Chloe Saavedra, an LA-based drummer, producer, and singer/songwriter who started a band at age 10 in the Seattle indie scene in the early 2000s. She first made waves as part of the band Smoosh, later rebranding as Chaos Chaos. With a foundation built on early experiences in indie-rock and synth-pop, Chloe's artistry has expanded beyond the confines of genre.
Now, as WTRGRL, Chloe crafts a sonic world that weaves together experimental electronic beats, ethereal melodies, and raw vulnerability. She often collaborates with LA-based producer Zhone, whose songwriting and production credits include Troye Sivan’s "Rush", Kesha’s "Joyride", and Demi Lovato’s "Fast".
