Wunder Wunder were born from the studios and minds of producers Aaron Shanahan and Benjamin Plant. The two producers, originally from Australia, worked in collaboration for years on electronic productions before relocating to Los Angeles in the early 2010s. They began working on the songs that would eventually lead to what became Wunder Wunder after this relocation, taking inspiration from the temperate climate and oceanic energy and filtering it into their sunny, laid-back new tracks of slightly psychedelic electronic indie pop. The band existed mostly conceptually and as a studio project until the release of first single "Coastline" in early 2014.
