Spotify’s CEO, Daniel Ek, has been reinvesting money earn through Spotify into Helsing (yes just like van helsing, dracula) which is a military company (ai killer drones…).
There’s also a flood of AI generated content on the platform and some of these songs, podcasts, playlists are even being paid, pushed and/or published by spotify themselves. nothing is being done to regulate or ban these things.
So... yea count me out. And try actually owning art, buy cds/digital copies on bandcamp yk.
