WWX is the dynamic studio project of musicians Guy Neighmond and Brian Leahy, hailing from the suburbs of Northern New Jersey. This eclectic duo blends their diverse influences to create a unique sound that spans heavy progressive, grunge, alternative, and industrial genres.
Brian, the creative force behind the drum parts, lyric ideas, and song hooks, is the owner of Combover Records and has a rich history of playing in bands such as The Cement Shoes, Animal Mother, Crossthread, Broken Heroes, and recent projects including Eyeswan and Painted Fiction.
Guy, a multi-instrumentalist and skilled music producer, builds the music around Brian's vision. He records WWX at his muti-track recording studio Digital Mix Studios. Guy has also played in Eyeswan and Broken Heroes, and is actively involved in Painted Fiction. Additionally, he has contributed his talents to bands like Squad Car Vandals, Jehl, Jack & Sally, and The Lake People.
WWX's music is a journey through heavy riffs, progressive arrangements, and haunting synths, weaving tales of suffering, ignorance, impending doom, and abstracted absurdity. Together, Guy and Brian push the boundaries of rock music, delivering a sound that is as compelling as it is unpredictable.
