A Belgian-born musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist; <a href="spotify:artist:1Zy3766FBxyWuQI6Fayg3e" data-name="WZA">WZA</a> (pronounced &quot;wizza&quot;) is the pseudonym of Wouter Souvereyns, a playful unique presence, with a strong command of style and genre as a producer and songwriter. Alternative R&amp;B and indie hiphop fueled productions with a 70&#39;s soul and funk injection; it’s a sincere ambitious project, brimming with honesty and humble perseverance. Lyrically <a href="spotify:artist:1Zy3766FBxyWuQI6Fayg3e" data-name="WZA">WZA</a> is the main character in his songs, creating tales of true-life observations with a comical aspect and never hiding sarcasm or satire in the lyrics.

His third EP <a href="spotify:album:6MZqz5oabU8thQtTNALiGr" data-name="Wigga III">Wigga III</a> released on October 18 2019 featured the single <a href="spotify:album:51Q22Q4jSF8C4Gzinjhrc9" data-name="On to the Next">On to the Next</a>. Immediately after release the song was added to Spotify playlists such as <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWWjGdmeTyeJ6" data-name="Fresh Finds">Fresh Finds</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWUFAJPVM3HTX" data-name="Fresh Finds: The Wave">Fresh Finds: The Wave</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXbUOvbOBAiPu" data-name="New Music Friday BE">New Music Friday BE</a> that introduced him to a broader audience. Belgian radio stations Studio Brussels and Radio 1 included two songs of the EP in their A-list en B-list rotations.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, <a href="spotify:artist:1Zy3766FBxyWuQI6Fayg3e" data-name="WZA">WZA</a> collaborated together with 16-year old rapper <a href="spotify:artist:3gqz8P8n0TyKh8XaMNqkDQ" data-name="Quintin">Quintin</a> for the first time on the track <a href="spotify:album:42aXmyhxHmq6oSVIuPPrOy" data-name="So Insane">So Insane</a>. First released as a joke on Soundcloud , -the song was recorded, mixed and produced in two hours-, it quickly claimed a lot of attention by Belgian press. Radio station Studio Brussels crowned the track as their Catch of The Day and was A-listed all day long.
