A Belgian-born musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist; <a href="spotify:artist:1Zy3766FBxyWuQI6Fayg3e" data-name="WZA">WZA</a> (pronounced "wizza") is the pseudonym of Wouter Souvereyns, a playful unique presence, with a strong command of style and genre as a producer and songwriter. Alternative R&B and indie hiphop fueled productions with a 70's soul and funk injection; it’s a sincere ambitious project, brimming with honesty and humble perseverance. Belgian radio stations Studio Brussels and Radio 1 included two songs of the EP in their A-list en B-list rotations.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, <a href="spotify:artist:1Zy3766FBxyWuQI6Fayg3e" data-name="WZA">WZA</a> collaborated together with 16-year old rapper <a href="spotify:artist:3gqz8P8n0TyKh8XaMNqkDQ" data-name="Quintin">Quintin</a> for the first time on the track <a href="spotify:album:42aXmyhxHmq6oSVIuPPrOy" data-name="So Insane">So Insane</a>. First released as a joke on Soundcloud , -the song was recorded, mixed and produced in two hours-, it quickly claimed a lot of attention by Belgian press. Radio station Studio Brussels crowned the track as their Catch of The Day and was A-listed all day long.
