X3NiC (Zee-Nik) was a name cooked up through associations. A CNC machinist with an old moniker of C-Note, the original idea was something along the lines of combining CNC with C-Note. (C-Note, CNC, see the similarities? :P) Enter the Periodic Table of Elements to insert elements into the three letters of CNC through neurodivergent tangent thought process, ultimately deciding on Xenon (Xe), Nickel (Ni) and Carbon (C). After a discovery the name was in use already while setting up distribution, the 3 was implemented in lieu of an E.
Music has always been a part of X3NiC's life, as far back as early as youth, learning classical theory. Eventually learning saxophone, guitar and keys to add to his vocal repertoire. Part of the underground rave scene in the 90s, it was at this time X3NiC began dabbling with samples, mixing and production. As time passed, music was put on a back burner because life has it's way of drowning dreams . . . but now X3NiC is finally taking steps to bring that dream back and make music a big part of life.
