Irving was born in Xalapa Veracruz, Mexico and came to America at 4 years old to a lower income neighborhood. Against all odds, Irving grew into XALA, one of the leading pioneers of underground artists in the bass/wave/trap scene.
XALA obtains his influences from Trap, Trance, Hardstyle and infuses them with his Latin roots. This allows XALA to experiment with different styles and to create what is truly unique to him.
XALA, has released groundbreaking music with GORILLA CREW REC, THE GAMES WE PLAY, TRIBAL TRAP, ELECTRIC REALMS and more.
He has travelled across America to perform shows with other leading artists such as Brothel., Barnacle Boi, EONE, ONHELL, M!NGO, COFRESI, Soudiere, BACK WHEN, Enjoii and others.
From beginning his music career in 2011, to what has now developed him to the leading pioneer of the Dallas Wave/Hardwave/Phonk scene, you can easily identify his footprint in the culture.
