Xavier Burks

Xavier Burks is an Artist from Southern California. Xavier started playing the piano at the age of 8 years old, at church where his parents were on staff as pastors. There he would start playing "whatever was in his head" on a Grand Piano. Xavier is self-taught, learning to play piano by ear. He learned his first song at the age of 12 while performing in school talent shows. He won his first talent show when he was in the 7th grade singing a cover of "When I was your Man," by Bruno Mars.

Xavier started exclusively writing his own music at the age of 14, the first being "Too Far Away." He gets his inspiration from all music genres especially R&B, Jazz, Doo-wop, Hip-Pop, and old school Rhythm and Blues. He gets his musical inspiration from artists like Daniel Ceasar, Bryson Tiller, Tauren Wells, Justin Timberlake, Troop, Michael Jackson, and Frank Sinatra.


Xavier is also an avid gamer and football player. He loves hanging out with his friends and is one of 3 brothers. Xavier Burks is a very understanding person. He once said," Enjoy the time you have on the earth, value time with family, and always be grateful for what you have." Xavier wants to one day be an inspiring artist and help people through tough times with his music.
