Hazel Malit, or xazl, is an aspiring teenage songwriter and musician based in Sacramento, California. She has been making music and performing since she was 13 years old, but has made her public debut with her first single, “September” at 17.

Driven by indie rock and alternative influences, she aims to create through her monthly release project from September 2025 to June 2026 (named the ‘moneth project’) a collection of songs that reflect her wide range of experiences and emotions in her senior year of high school.
