XCAPE

We are a small band from a small town in Texas. Heavily influenced by Grunge and Punk Music, we strive to have fun with our music and release as much pent up aggression and angst on stage as possible.

XCAPE was formed in mid 2022 by Mathew Morales and Jonathan Cox, and soon would play their first of two shows in early 2023. By September of 2023, they welcomed their long time friend and bassist, Wyatt Kofoed.

In November of 2023, XCAPE released their studio demos featuring early demo versions of songs including Lucky Feelin', Chemicals, Wild Things, and a few more demo songs.

In December of 2023, XCAPE went thru a few lineup changes and fill ins with Taylor Shearer of Shrumkloud taking over permanently on drums.

Currently, XCAPE has been working hard to spread their name and play as often as possible. In late April, they added Nate Hernandez on Lead Guitar and Zach Baxter on Bass officially. They released their Single Push, Pull, Steal in April of 2024 and have set to release their Debut Album White Noise in Late July, Early August of 2024.

XCAPE also has a live album recorded at The People's Plaza, showcasing their skills, talent, and creativity to the world. This album features Nate on lead guitar and Zach on bass. Both are also in the band called Pipedog, who have been seen working alongside XCAPE and Shrumkloud.
