Los Angeles Indie-pop Soul & Rnb band Xella makes music for your mind body & soul. Through genre-bending melodies and powerfully relatable lyrics they bridge the gap between each member's individual musical influencesin perfect unison. Starting out as long-time friends jamming in garages for therapy, members Michelle Villegas (lead vocals), Wynette Manacsa (guitar/backup vocals), Tiffany Perez (drums), and Andru Bautista (guitar) finally formed Xella summer 2019. Later joined by Carlos Elias (bass) in 2022.
Their debut EP Rooftop Bliss released this November 2022 including NPR Tiny Desk Contest favorite ,"ON." The EP showcases their range from funk to rock and pop to soul through stories of triumph in difficult times. A slate of visuals will be released beginning with a short film collaboration with Justin Villanueva for Kiwi Champagne. Catch them as they play shows up the West Coast starting with San Francisco next year!
