Since 2005, Sacramento musician Jason Cox has been releasing cover versions of classic video game music, overdubbing dozens of instruments, traditional and otherwise. He is probably best known for covering the complete soundtracks of Super Mario World [SMW, 2005], Kirby's Adventure [What's Pink and Sucks?, 2007], Gremlins 2 [G2EP, 2007], and Super Mario Bros. 3 [Xoc Plays III, 2009].
