Hailing out of California, these three San Francisco natives are modern-day storytellers for young millennials. Making music out of real life scenarios that connect young people through personal experience, Xpress gives you content that’s sure to elevate thought.
Xpress is a playful take on the verb “express” which means to convey a thought or feeling in words and conduct. It’s a fitting title for an eclectic group of artists on a mission to break preconceived notions of the typical Christian sound. Specializing in a diversified mix of hip-hop and R&B, the group was started in 2016 to embrace the varied and continuously unheard voices of a new generation.
They’ve been influenced by the likes of Lauryn Hill, Common, Nas, Andre 3000, and Tupac, but their music is unique at its core with no opportunity for selling out. Comprised by an array of talent, Emanuel, Justice, and Alanna have taken the Bay Area’s underground conscious scene by storm with their high energy performances, raw talent, and audience engagement. Xpress can be found in the studio or rhythmically preaching to crowds while awaiting the release of their debut project.
