Ottawa artist, Xsaddi (Evan Assadi) started recording music in 2018 at the age 13 in the studio of 6ENSE (Brodie Larocque) of We Up Next Records in Gatineau, Quebec. 6ENSE was struck by Xsaddi’s comfort level his first time in the studio where he walked up to the mic like he owned it, and recorded his first song in just a couple of hours. This was the beginning of a highly creative artist-producer relationship. Xsaddi’s songs and collaborations showcase a great, young talent that was constantly evolving. Xsaddi’s life was tragically cut short in July of 2020. In his memory and as an act of love, Xsaddi’s family and friends are releasing his remaining work posthumously to honour who he was, share his passion for music, his talent, and his journey to discovering his unique sound.
