出道自新加坡電視台新傳媒所舉辦的最大規模選秀比賽《SPOP 聽我唱！2018》，xxmxrcs（發音為Marcus）具有極高辨識度的嗓音和穩健臺風讓他成為呼聲最高的選手。他一路過關斬將，奪下亞軍寶座。

他隨後以雙人樂團的模式釋出原創作品，並出演多場大型活動，其中包括：《Stärker Music Carnival 2019》與F.I.R. 飛兒樂團同台、韓國人氣R&B創作歌手Sam Kim首場新加坡專場『cross-over x Sam Kim: Sun and Moon 演唱會擔任開場表演歌手、《TGIF Music Station 周5音樂站》 @ 新加坡華族文化中心、《Red Dot 濱海藝術中心》等等。現場演唱實力和舞臺魅力再次驚艷觀眾，讓人留下「一開口就讓你圈粉」的稱號。

藝名以網路親吻符號「xx」為開頭，xxmxrcs即將在粉絲眾所期盼之下，通過創作帶給粉絲無可救藥的浪漫狂潮。

Starting off his music career through participating in Singapore’s biggest singing competition ‘SPOP Sing! 2018’, xxmxrcs (pronounced as Marcus) delved in with no expectations, achieving 1st runner-up in the competition.

In 2019, xxmxrcs continue his journey in a duo band, performing at renowned stages such as ‘Stärker Music Carnival 2019’, headlined by Taiwanese Pop Rock Band F.I.R., and as the opening act for Korean R&B artist Sam Kim during his ‘cross-over x Sam Kim: Sun And Moon Concert’, TGIF Music Station 2019 @ Singapore Chinese Cultural, Red Dot Esplanade Show @ Esplanade Outdoor Theatre and more.
