XYSM is a French-Canadian independent artist, producer, songwriter, and vocalist whose music fuses classical roots with modern electronic textures. Since launching in 2017, XYSM’s music has garnered over 100 million streams across streaming platforms, with his debut EP Memories, released through Electro Posé, amassing over 40 million streams on Spotify alone.
Starting his musical journey at four with the violin, Tommy earned first-place honours in British Columbia’s Royal Conservatory of Music exams at the third-grade level by age seven, and first place in the ninth-grade level by age nine. In high school, Tommy formed a band where he honed his multi-instrumental skills including piano, guitar, and drums. Shortly after, he discovered music production, unlocking his purpose in fulfilling his musical vision.
Beyond music production, XYSM spends a lot of his time staying in tune with nature. Since 2017, XYSM’s unique photography has left a significant mark on the industry, setting a new trend among electronic artists. What began as his personal expression has now become a standard for many, with nature-driven visuals defining the look of today’s electronic music profiles.
