Yaj Kader is one of the most talked about hip hop artists today. He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and has always been a lover of music. Growing up in New Orleans opened him up to so many genres of music such as Rock, Trap and Drill. Due to his love of music and upbringing his music is sonically driven by pain and emotion.
He was first spotted by the Lil’ Wayne and was eventually signed to Young Money along with his group named, Vice Versa which included his brother Poppy. Lil’ Wayne mentored Vice Versa and even invited them on his “Kloser 2 U Tour”.
After many years of mentorship Yaj has ventured out and is releasing his debut album Dancing with Kode Red dropping on February 12th. This album has the industry so excited being that he is working with the hottest producers Bennie & Michael Briggman. The album has titles such as Fukk 12, Random, Blokk is Hot and Darkhorse. This album will definitely give fans the opportunity to fall in love with Hip Hop all over again.
