The Vancouver based singer songbird, Yana Laskov, captures her life experiences through ethereal guitar songs. At the age of 12, Yana started to write her own music and play guitar all while posting song covers on YouTube. It wasn’t until her teenage years that she began experimenting with music production, followed by the release of her first single “Clovers”.
Fast forward to 5 years later, Yana will be releasing her hauntingly captivating studio single “Cathedral” in September 2025. The 6 minute studio single epitomizes a plea for vulnerability, a desire to be wanted, and embodies an inharmonious conversation between inferiority and sovereignty.
