Yanet Mena

Yanet Mena (singer/songwriter/composer)(known as Yanet Rios prior to marriage) was born in Argentina and raised in Florida, USA. Her family came from Argentina when she was only 2 years old because of a message from God to her grandfather saying that there would be a great revival in the United States and that his children would be needed for that time. Her family was full of missionaries, pastors, prophets, and musicians. She grew up singing with her family in gatherings. They would sing and play instruments together. They would sing hymns, coritos, and original songs. That is where her love for music began. She began to sing at 5 years old (humming along, trying to figure out the words of the songs). She began writing poems at 11 in gratitude for all the freedom God gave her. Those poems became songs when she learned to play piano at 12, then guitar at 13. She never stopped making songs for God. She now has a mission in life to teach the world to know and love Jesus and to give worship and adoration to Him who is worthy.
