Taking their name from the Russian word « Yarost » meaning « Rage », this word resume the kind of music they play. A feeling that comes from the inside to squirt out through the only way of expression they know: Music.
Yarotz sound is Metal, Punk and Hardcore music mixed together to give a raw power, brutal and darkness songs that invokes names like Converge, Nails or Russian Circles. One part of their sound is really intense running wild while the other part is full of melancholy and loudness. Their lyrics show how our world and our society can screw up and expresses the band judgment about that.
Yarotz has been formed in 2018, and they come from the southwest coast of France near Bayonne. Fabien and Vincent also play together within Junon for 15 years. After a first demo CD in 2019, several more gigs in France has followed the release, including opening show for Birds In Row, Brutus, and many other bands.
Since 2019, XL Tour and Gojira's Christian Andreu are supporting the band. The latter gave them an indecent solo featuring on « Childish Anger » song listed on the first album « Erinyes ». In 2020, Covid has stopped their tour project and the group has decided to focus his energy on this first LP, that has been recorded and mixed by Cyrille Gachet, and mastered by Alan Douches at the beginning of 2021.
