Yarro is a soulful singer/songwriter who believes in music’s power to heal. Born into an artistic family in Ottawa, Canada, she was raised using creation as an effective tool for communication. With ethereal vocals and authentic lyrics, Yarro is known as a captivating performer and passionate storyteller, touching on themes of self-discovery, relationships and mental-health. Some notable performances include Canadian Music Week, Fashion Art Toronto, and Pride Toronto. Releasing music since 2019, she’s gained traction through singles “Time Machine”, “Your Own”, and her debut EP “Reset”. She is one half of the musical duo “Bayash Sisters”, who released their first EP “Provenance” in 2023. Yarro is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Acting Program (2016), the RBC x Launchpad Music Entrepreneurship Program (2022), and is a Certified Therapeutic Arts Practitioner (2023). Her work has been supported by Toronto and Ontario Arts Councils.
