Alternative R&B/indie soul singer songwriter Yaz Aiyla began her journey writing songs in her bedroom in Devon, where she was brought up by her English - Turkish parents. Flash forward to now and she’s since moved to London where she’s been developing her musical passion and honing her craft, to work on exciting new projects filled with the soulful lyrics and rich tones.
Aiyla creates dreamy, powerful and edgy neo-soul rooted tunes, inspired by an eclectic group of genres and artists such as Amy Winehouse, Jorja Smith and Erykah Badu to Tame Impala, Jungle and Hiatus Kaiyote name but a few, aiding her in creating a delicately and delightfully put together sound.
