Jeevan Subramaniam a.k.a. YB Brown Sugar is a 18 year old artist and executive/musical producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Beginning his music career in June of 2019, he would record music through his phone on the popular app "GarageBand." In February of 2020 he started a more professional set up and began to find his sound. Recently evolving his genre and style, "YB" is now on his journey to becoming a widely known figure in the underground scene.
YB was surrounded by music from an early age. With his grandparents, parents, and siblings all playing instruments, he took a liking to percussion and piano. Soon after learning piano, he joined the school band in fourth grade playing percussion up until his junior year of high school. YB has since taken a hiatus from music but still enjoys making beats and songs with friends!
