Yb Withdakeys is a music producer and sound designer based in Accra, Ghana, from Burkina Faso. Known for his heavy, bouncy, and experimental sound, Yb thrives on pushing sonic boundaries—merging trap-influences with the pulse of Afrobeats, Amapiano, alté, and R&B. His beats are layered with unpredictability, emotion, and a signature bounce that commands movement.
Since stepping into the scene around 2022, Yb Withdakeys has worked with artists across several genres, bringing not just beats, but direction, energy, and unique perspective into every session. Inspired by producers like Wheezy, DJ Dahi, and P.Priime—and artists such as Rema, Kanye West, Young Thug, Wizkid, and Drake—his creative palette is wide, always evolving, yet unmistakably his own.
Driven by a larger vision, Yb is focused on influencing the sound of his generation and helping shape the music ecosystem of Burkina Faso. For him, predictability is the enemy—feeling is everything.
