YCC Worship is the sound of Worship from Yeovil Community Church in Somerset, UK. This project is the first release from the church and is a collaboration of many different voices and writers from across the community. YCC is passionate about seeing Jesus wholeheartedly worshipped, deeply experienced and clearly known. They are passionate about encountering God together and seeing that ripple out and transform every area of our lives.
After many years of writing music and exploring what the churches story is locally this is a new season of sharing songs, stories, and their heart cry. The debut single You Have Our Hallelujah was written during lockdown and recorded with over 30 voices from different peoples’ homes and settings expresses the journey of the last 18 months with the line ‘even when the crowd is silenced, distant voices join as one’.
Following on from YHOH, sees the release of the new single ‘Promise of Peace’, written during Covid from Philippians 4. It’s a celebration of Gods peace available to us all.
