Speaking of music chemistry, The Australian duo Yeah Gee Boyz brought attention to the hip hop scene in Newcastle NSW one of the most beautiful growing cities in Australia, with a unique melodic flavour inspired by their Zimbabwean background. Growing up a hiphop head listening to artist like Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and the biggest rap group in the world “The Migos” inspired the duo to pick up a microphone, The members B Makina and Ton The Guy started making music together in 2017 released their first hit “Mr Miyagi” with over 250k plays on Spotify with visuals going viral on social media. The group did a Sydney and Newcastle club tour gaining them popularity in their city to selling out Newcastle shows featuring Newcastle’s popular Djs Arbi Squad. Being their nature to stay on the Job B Makina and Ton the Guy went on to pursue their Solo projects. Ton the Guy released his first Ep “I am Ton” with a leading hit song “One way”. B Makina took the Rnb route with a leading single “One Hell Of A Night”. The Duo is back in the studio working on their first Yeah Gee Boyz album.
