The German-American duo mix the snappy sound of 1980s music, movies and video games, with the electronic melancholy of modern life. The band’s second album, “Love on a Dying Planet,” is an eight-song cycle – released one track at a time – that tells the story of star-crossed lovers as they discover passion and peril at the end of the world.
