Yeboah, is a German-born Ghanaian and global social media sensation who captured the attention of Sony Music and is building critical acclaim that is striking a chord within the entertainment industry. In an exclusive interview with BlackBand, Ghana’s premier public relations and consultancy firm, Yeboah talked about his vision to transform 21st century youth culture through content and music that infuses both African and Western influences. Speaking about his upcoming project, he’s excited for people to hear “a new sound with a very nostalgic feel.”
Yeboah’s debut single "Dunno" was released in the Summer of 2022 and includes a musical genre that combines Afrobeats and Afropop with touches of hip-hop, dancehall and reggae to create a sonic flow bringing the most popular sounds of the world together. His work will include music produced by Asante Jr., songwriters Blazey and Triplet and overseen by Brasco (award-winning producer who has worked with some of Germany’s biggest artists, including Luciano and Kalim).
Yeboah was recently signed to FUNK, the online platform of Germany’s leading television stations, ZDF & ARD. The platform selected his work because of Yeboah‘s strong appeal to Afro-Germans, who feel represented by his entertaining, yet educational flair.
