Yellow Spoon

Yellow Spoon is a duo playing improvisational music inspired by, but not limited to, jazz, soul, hiphop and house. The duo has been making waves in Denmark since signing with SBD in 2018 and has quickly established themselves as one of the premier DK crossover jazz/beat acts, a scene burgeoning with talent. Since 2018, they have supported acts such as &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:5dVua2HdrY1VlbPh6OM9KZ" data-name="The Gaslamp Killer">The Gaslamp Killer</a> (US), &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:0NrVrf231eji48nhNUJTXe" data-name="Laura Misch">Laura Misch</a> (UK), &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:0INatsTiEOX0EJimNTQjSM" data-name="Charlotte Dos Santos">Charlotte Dos Santos</a> (NO) and have collaborated with Danish artists such as &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:22kGWiVcrZfnvWnRZLFoXu" data-name="Nanna.B">Nanna.B</a> &amp; &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:1QYYoqc9d6sZPW5AtFY9Yc" data-name="Shatter Hands">Shatter Hands</a>. They’ve been labeled as a must watch by the Danish newspaper Politiken, and recently performed at JazzAlive as part of the national jazz radio P8s online programming.


Yellow Spoons selftitled debut album was released in April 2021 on Super Bad Disco/ HHV Records, who also released the critically acclaimed &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:2BBIIe7eBYThLcIrZGZb3I" data-name="Athletic Progression">Athletic Progression</a>, &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:3OHpCwqBDDEaMJcP5chJlJ" data-name="Berlin Zoo">Berlin Zoo</a> and &#34;<a href="spotify:artist:3aalnO8zXI30bOXQrzod5k" data-name="Lord Akton">Lord Akton</a>. Yellow Spoon have disregarded COVID as a limitation, kept busy, and have been making their mark on the international modern jazz and beat scenes. Most lately with their follow up joint album “The Nebula Session” with fellow improv duo <a href="spotify:artist:053i0P5lMUJN5zBmcQbLd9" data-name="KALEIIDO">KALEIIDO</a> on Celebration records.
